Baked Student Protests Cookie Truck

This afternoon on Temple Campus, there was a big protest against the Insomnia Cookie Company. Recently, Insomnia set up a truck that sells over-priced and extremely small cookies to poor college students.

We were able to witness this great riot first hand. This is how the scenario went down.

Student: I'll have one cookie please.
Insomnia: .........
Student: One chocolate chip cookie.
Insomnia: We don't have those.
Student: What do you mean?
Insomnia: They'll be ready in 3 hours.
Student: Okay then. One sugar cookie.
Insomnia: That will be one dollar.

Student grabs cookie. And with vigor, slams it to the ground creating an epic thud.

Yes, even though the student bought a cookie JUST to throw it on the ground, he sent a huge message to all students and the owners of Insomnia. Students will not stand to be ripped off.

We tried to contact the Insomnia Cookie Truck, however, they had no comment on the earlier altercation.

This student was Thomas Manson.

  1. I went there for the first time a few nights ago just to check it out. I agree that the cookies are not worth it. And whats up with that condescending sign that tells you to use "May I..." instead of "Can I..."? Douchey.
